2021 Lavender Notice
If you are interested in a lavender session in 2021, please get in touch and I will add you to my list - as soon as dates and fees are available, I'll get in touch with you to book. Spaces as always will be very limited and once dates are realised, will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
Please bear in mind that all locations can vary quite considerably year-to-year, and depending on the light conditions on the day. These images are a guide only, no two sessions look exactly the same even when taken a few days apart.
On cloudy evenings, we shoot up the field with the rows of lavender falling behind. On sunny evenings, we shoot across the field for backlit light. The colour of the lavender will vary according to the light on your session day, with more pinkish hues on sunny evenings and more purple hues on cloudy evenings.
Hitchin Lavender in July
Sunflowers
Sunflowers at Hitchin Lavender are sometimes in bloom at the end of July. Sunflowers cannot be guaranteed to be in bloom for a lavender session - but if they are, you are welcome to use them! For the best chance of sunflowers being in bloom, choose a session as late in July as possible.
