Below is an outline a few health & safety measures that are in place for your photography session;
- Our sessions are out in the fresh, clean air of the countryside - much safer than an indoor studio! I also shoot mostly with long lenses, which means I am quite a distance from you for most of the session.
- All bookings & galleries are online via email. - Sessions are currently limited to 2 adults only per session - Extended family sessions will not be available for the time being - sessions are limited to parents and their children (or single parents, feel free to bring a trusted friend or relative). - Hard-surface props are now wiped down with antibacterial wipes between sessions. - Throws, blankets & newborn wraps/outfits are laundered between sessions as always. - I will be using antibacterial hand gel as I always have done. - I will have masks with me - please let me know if you'd like me to wear one for our session, the same goes for gloves. - Gloves will be used for Maternity and Newborn sessions, as for these sessions I will need to have direct contact with you / your child. - I won't be greeting you or saying goodbye with a handshake or a hug (remember the days when we used to hug?!) or high-fiving with the children. - Cake-smash cakes will continue to be provided by the client for birthday sessions. - If either party is suffering from a sickness, this should be disclosed and the session rescheduled. - Payments should be online via bank transfer. - I will no longer be asking you to sign your paper booking form/contract with a pen. Instead, you will be asked to digitally sign when booking. ~ Gowns and outfits that are dry-clean only are steamed after use - Gowns and outfits are never worn more than once in any 24 hour period (but realistically are used much less often than this!)
Please bear in mind that certain prop or clothing items are dry-clean only, and cannot be laundered. This includes teddies and other soft props, pages of books, vintage items, paper props, maternity gowns, headbands and girls gowns.
All items should be used at your own discretion.
If you or a member of your family is in a high-risk group or is particularly concerned about Covid19 transmission, please let me know and we can arrange for you a completely prop-free session with no contact. You can also choose to bring your own props to your session if you would prefer.
While these health & safety measures have been taken for the protection of you and your family, there will always be some risk of exposure to Covid19 (or any other contagious illness) in any place where people are or have been present - we can do our best, but it can never be completely avoidable.
By booking a session with Chinchilla Photography, the client assumes all risks related to exposure to Covid19, for themselves and their family members who attend the session.
I look forward to working with you in this new chapter - your memories will be as beautiful as ever! ~ Claire
