I am a nature loving, free spirited person who loves adventures and memories much more than material things (apart from camera gear and props, which I am slightly obsessed with!) I have run Chinchilla Photography since 2014 and first picked up a DSLR when my amazing little boy was born in 2011 - I am completely self taught.
My heart is with the little people and those who love them and this is the focus of my work. I adore natural light and creating beautiful, magical images in the local countryside with the use of props, outfits and creative editing. I work with my creative vision combined with my clients preferences and bring them to life as art to be treasured.
It's just magical to me, to be able to capture so many aspects of a little persons developing personality. To see the eternal bond flourishing with their parents & siblings. To watch them grow from bumps in Mama's tummy to tiny babies at their newborn session. Then as little boys & girls exploring their world at their first birthday session and onwards. Seeing the family grow. It really is a privileged job I have and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of so many lovely families lives.
You'll find me rummaging through antique stores looking for vintage items and inspiration. Searching the beautiful local countryside for magical natural backdrops, and constantly practicing and perfecting my craft. When I don't have my camera in hand, I'm busy being Mama, out exploring with my son George, hiking, bushcrafting, planning our next trip, growing things, cooking, eating Thai food or drinking wine with friends. And giving cuddles to our naughty chinchillas Diego & Pedro, of course!
